Instructions
Marinate beef in a bowl with cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
In a tagine pot, brown marinated beef over medium heat.
Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
Pour in beef broth, bring to a simmer, then add pitted dates.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
